Trademark & Brand Guidelines
Natrium Technologies Inc. Trademark Guidelines
These guidelines are for Natrium customers, developers, open-source integrators, authorized partners, and other parties wishing to use Natrium trademarks or logos in any promotional, commercial, educational, or reference material.
Use of Natrium trademarks and logos is prohibited, unless expressly authorized under these guidelines or you have first obtained written permission from Natrium Technologies Inc. to use them.
Natrium trademarks and logos are our valuable intellectual property assets. In order to preserve and protect the Natrium brand, it is essential that our trademarks and logos are used properly. Natrium exclusively owns any goodwill generated by the use of Natrium trademarks and logos.
1. Permissible Uses
References in text form to Natrium products and services: You are permitted to use Natrium trademarks in word form only (word marks, not logos) to identify genuine Natrium products or services, subject to the guidelines below. Use of the Natrium logos requires our prior written permission.
References to Natrium Technologies Inc. as a company: Natrium Technologies Inc. is a company and trade name. You are permitted to reference Natrium Technologies Inc. as a company in written materials by first using the full trade name with the incorporated designation (i.e., “Natrium Technologies Inc.”), followed by Natrium (omitting the “Inc.” designation) in subsequent references in the same publication.
2. Web Badges and Security Seals
You may use Natrium web badges or status indicators on your website to inform visitors that your email communications or custom domains are protected, DKIM-authenticated, and routed through Natrium mail services. Please do not alter Natrium web badges in any way (such as stretching, color-inverting, changing aspect ratios, or modifying vectors).
3. Integrators, Developers & Community Ecosystem
Third-party developers, open-source clients, and integration authors may refer to Natrium to indicate software compatibility (e.g., “Natrium-compatible client” or “Built for the Natrium API”). However, you may not name your software in a way that suggests Natrium created, officially endorses, or certifies your product.
4. When Allowed, How May I Use the Trademarks?
When using Natrium marks in authorized materials:
- Properly designate (with ™) all Natrium trademarks the first time the trademark appears in text.
- Include an appropriate trademark attribution statement, for example: “Natrium, the Natrium logo, and other Natrium marks are trademarks of Natrium Technologies Inc.”
- Natrium spelling should never be changed, and Natrium should always be capitalized.
- “Natrium” should not be used as part of a third-party brand name, joined with a hyphen, or used in the direct title of applications or software. Instead, use referential phrases such as “for use with,” “compatible with,” “runs on,” or “for.”
Incorrect: “iNatrium” or “My Natrium App”
Correct: “My Client for Natrium™” or “Integration Plugin for Natrium™” - Natrium trademarks should always be used as an adjective followed by a proper generic noun; they may never be used in a plural or possessive form.
Incorrect: “Natriums”
Correct: “Natrium™ encrypted email services” - Natrium trademarks should never be used as a verb.
Incorrect: “We Natriumed our email.”
Correct: “We use Natrium services to encrypt and secure our communications.”
5. What Should I Avoid When Using Natrium Trademarks?
- Truthful References Only: Only truthful, fair references are acceptable. Misleading references are prohibited. For instance, it is not permissible to claim that an application or website uses Natrium services or encryption when it does not.
- No False Affiliation or Endorsement: You may not use any Natrium trademark or logo in a manner that would imply that Natrium has an affiliation with, or provides endorsement, sponsorship, or support of a third-party product or service, without express written permission.
- No Disparagement: Natrium trademarks, graphic symbols, logos, typeface, or icons may not be used in a disparaging manner.
- No Confusing Domain Names or Identifiers: Under no circumstances shall a letter string that is identical, nearly identical, or confusingly similar to any Natrium trademark be used as part of a domain name, subdomain, user agent, or service name. For example, registering domains with typographical errors or deceptive variations is strictly prohibited.
- No Search Ad Keyword Bidding: Other than authorized partners under written contract, third parties may not bid for keywords on Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, or other targeted advertising systems using Natrium marks or misspellings. Third parties may not use Natrium marks in domain names, meta tags, search terms, or search engine optimization intended to mislead traffic.
- No Illegal or Harmful Association: You may not display Natrium trademarks or branding on any site or material that violates any law, regulation, or our Acceptable Use Policy (including spam, phishing, malware, child exploitation, or fraud).
- No Merchandising: You may not use Natrium trademarks on merchandise for sale (e.g., selling apparel, stickers, mugs, hardware devices) without a license.
- No Alterations: You may not modify Natrium trademarks, abbreviate them, combine them with other symbols, words, or images, or incorporate them into a third-party tagline or slogan.
6. Word Marks
The following are trademarks and service marks owned and asserted by Natrium Technologies Inc.:

The absence of a product or service name, mark, or slogan from this list does not constitute a waiver of Natrium's trademark or other intellectual property rights concerning that name or mark.
